KHAM ROYAL KINGDOM , SOUTH AFRICA, September 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dr. Robin L. West was formally crowned HRH Queen Robin L. West during the Kham Royal Kingdom's royal festivities on September 4, 2026, marking a significant new chapter of service, leadership, and humanitarian engagement.

The coronation was conducted by His Royal Majesty King Tikoe Tefo Meshack Lekitlane of the Kham Royal Kingdom before a distinguished gathering of Kings, Queens, Paramount Chiefs, Chiefs, Ambassadors, government and international officials, and other dignitaries who assembled for the Kingdom’s festivities and witnessed the historic ceremony.

Also present was Queen Robin’s husband, HRH King Dr. Ruben West, who served at King Tikoe’s right hand during the coronation.

The occasion was more than the conferral of a royal title. For Queen Robin, the coronation establishes a platform of responsibility through which she intends to devote her influence to preparing young people for leadership, service, and generational impact.

A Queen With a Mission
Central to Queen Robin’s royal mission will be the development of Youth Empowerment Leadership and Legacy (Y.E.L.L.), an initiative that equips young people with the leadership capacity, character, confidence, and sense of responsibility needed to positively influence their communities and future generations.

Her vision recognizes that the strength of nations tomorrow is directly connected to the investment made in young people today. Through Y.E.L.L., Queen Robin intends to create opportunities for youth to discover their potential and to understand that leadership is ultimately measured by service and the value one creates for others.

Queen Robin is also a certified World Civility Ambassador with the Global Civility Leadership Institute, further underscoring her commitment to leadership grounded in civility, dignity, respect, and responsible influence.

Born into an American family, Queen Robin is the daughter of Edna Stone of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Roger Jones of Victorville, California. Her journey from the United States to assuming a position of royal responsibility in Africa reflects an expanding life of international service and cross-cultural engagement.

A Shared Commitment to Africa
Queen Robin and HRH King Dr. Ruben West have already supported humanitarian and leadership initiatives in Kenya and Uganda, and the couple is expanding its engagement across the African continent.

Their work is increasingly focused on building relationships and initiatives that connect leadership development, civility, humanitarian service, education, youth empowerment, and sustainable community advancement.

As Queen Robin assumes her new responsibilities, youth development will become a defining part of that shared work.

King West described his wife’s coronation as both an honor and a call to greater responsibility.

“Becoming Queen is not simply about receiving a title. It is about accepting the responsibility to serve,” said HRH King Dr. Ruben West. “Robin has a heart for young people and a genuine desire to help them recognize their value, develop their leadership, and understand the legacy they can create. Her coronation gives greater reach to a mission already in her heart.”

Leadership, Heritage and Legacy
The Kham Royal Kingdom’s coronation festivities united traditional leadership and international representatives in a celebration of people, culture, unity, prosperity, royal purpose, heritage, and legacy. For Queen Robin, those principles will now be translated into action.

Her royal mission will place particular emphasis on building a bridge between generations, ensuring that young people are not merely seen as beneficiaries of today’s leadership but are intentionally prepared to become responsible architects of tomorrow.

Through Y.E.L.L. and her broader humanitarian work with King West, Queen Robin aims to expand youth leadership opportunities and build relationships with leaders, communities, institutions, and organizations across Africa and internationally.

The coronation of HRH Queen Robin L. West therefore marks both a historic personal milestone and the beginning of a broader mandate: to empower young people to lead, serve, and leave a legacy worthy of the generations that will follow them.
